Saturn is the flattened (oblated), its equatorial and polar diameter vary by almost 10 %.

Saturn is the least dense of the planet. The gravity is 0.7 .

The rings is extraordinary thin. About 250,000 km diameter, and 1,5 km thin. The particles seem to be composed primaly of water ice, but they may also include rocky particles with ice cloathing.

It has a magnificant magnetic field. Like Jupiter and Uranus, it has its own internal heat source.

Saturn is the god of agriculture. The associated Greek god, Cronus, was the son of Uranus and Gaia and the father of Zeus.
